Belly Chains & Waist Chain Belts

Our metal belts and waist chains are fully adjustable up to the size listed since chainmail has no lack of rings which can be hooked onto. The slim belly chains tie attractively, but we can add a hook at your request.

More elaborate and versatile than our belly chains, this waist chain also looks wonderful when worn over clothing. The chain in back makes it fall just right on skin so it's a perfect accessory for summer and dance outfits. From the decorative front-piece dangles a fringe of sparkling fire polished beads or shiny bells. Shown with Amira bodyjewelry and an Amira Handstar. View with nickel-plated bells. This unusual waist chain belt is a gorgeous chainmail accessory which goes with any number of outfit styles from Renaissance costumes and harem pants to modern dresses, skirts and leggings. It looks great draped low on the hips as well as straight across the waist. The front tapers inward to a point and is ornamented with garnet colored points and shiny chains and reflective drop-shaped discs. This loincloth style belt looks great with jeans, leggings or by itself. It is a must-have accessory for Ren Faire to clubwear, as one can tell just by the sheer number of poorly made knockoffs now on the market. Both elongated triangles, front and back, are formed of our own trademark combination of hexagonal chainmaille and European weave base. At the sides, our maille diamonds alternate with larger rings, attractively providing many attachment points for the snap-hooks, allowing for a perfect fit for all waist sizes up to 38". This belt can be worn across the waist or so that it dip low on the hips. Shown with a Wayfarer choker w/D-ring, Wayfarer arm bands, Wayfarer bracelet and a Colorful hand-drape. Crystal belly chain $17.50
This belly chain is available in a variety of bright chain colors and sparkles with Austrian crystals or semi-precious stones. We've been making this style for 15 years, and they are still in high demand. Each is handmade to order with your choice of bead and aluminum chain color. Our time tested design attaches by slipping the teardrop through the loop and wrapping or tying it as creatively as you wish. It can be easily worn through a navel ring. View with purple chain and Hematite beads. By special request, we can make this belly chain with a small S-hook, but most find this detracts from the overall look of the design. View with gold-tone chain and Malachite.

Amira Firebead bellychain $14.00
This slim belly chain is less elaborate than most of our waist chains. It is made with silver-tone or gold-tone chain and with faceted glass fire polished beads sparkling along it's length. It makes a great accessory for wear with anything from crop tops through belly dance outfits. The chain may also be threaded through a belly ring for wear. This belly chain design is worn by passing the end bead through the ring and wrapping or tying the chain creatively back upon itself. We can make it with a small "S" hook if you prefer, but that tends to diminish the overall look. View close-up.

Dancer neck to belly chain $38.00
Many expressed interest in a more ornate and dainty body chain than our Harem body chains so we've created this unusual necklace to belly chain. It is wonderful for dance costumes, summer wear or wherever else an unusual and intriguing accessory is desired. Wear over clothing or with the chain leading under a cropped shirt to reappear at the waist. Your choice of semi-precious stones or Austrian crystals crown black faceted points dangle beautifully. The neckchain is made with additional length so it's end bead may lead enticingly down the back or be draped back over the shoulder as shown. The waist chain adjusts up to a 36" waist, and any excess adds a graceful touch when looped back onto the hook and/or over the chain. It is shown here in silver-tone with goldstone beads.
